Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 550 ford backhoe? My email is open! Thanks!
I have no voltage to the fuel gauge or the temperature gauge. I found a resistor and I'm wondering if the voltage goes from that to the gauges?

Does the "resistor" you found look like the photo above?

If so, you have found the "Instrument Voltage Regulator" AKA "Voltage Stabilizer" (part #C7NN10N507A).

This "chops" the battery voltage at a 50% duty cycle to provide an average of about 1/2 battery voltage to power the electric gauges.

Yes! There is one like that that his shaped
a little different! There is also resistor
down lower in the steering box. There is no
voltage to that voltage regulator. There
are a couple of wires that seem to be
abandoned in that box too, and one wire
that looks like it had gotten hot. Thanks
for that picture; it helps a lot!
