Peterboro was made by Peter Brotherhood of Peterborough in a short period from 1920.
Peter Brotherhood was a large engineering company that branched out into tractors at
a time, just after WW1 but, although they were a strongly built tractor and powerful
at 30 hp, the cost put them way ahead of the Model F Fordson. The engine was
designed by Ricardo who specialised in engine design.

I think this tractor is owned by R. Desborough, a private collector of rare tractors
who shows them at our local East of England vintage machinery show. He brings along
a number of rare tractors and cars, some of which get posted on here by KCM.

The Peterboro was also exported to places like Australia and New Zealand and there
is an excellent one on display in the Wheatland's Museum in Warracknabeal, Victoria,
Australia, a museum well worth a visit if you ever get to Australia. ( A tractor and
horse drawn cart are on show which came from my cousins farm. The family emigrated
from Norfolk in the 1860's).

Yes DB ive just got it and Majorman as got it right. In April 2019 one was sold here in the UK at Chevins auction and a friend of mine bought it and the next weekend he brought to Stradsett Park rally in Norfolk for some help from me and my colluges to help him to get it running so he could take it around the ring for me to commontate on it but we never got it running but he got it running soon afterwards.
