Thanks for the input Jm. I am getting a whole lot better deal on the Kubota than a Deere or NH. Both on sale price and trade price. Ive been running NH. The model Im looking at is a BV 4180 silage special to replace a 648 NH. Thanks again. Tony

You will be very happy with your new Kubota Baler.

It will take a while to get used to the monitor, not complicated just different. Heres a picture I took while I was baling Sunday afternoon trying to get ahead of the rain.

See if you can get the bale per hour up to 72 like the picture. I usually see it reading 40-46, but hay was perfect, windrows heavy and field smooth. I was traveling at 7 mph . Best of luck with your new baler. I can offer one tip. When you install a new roll of net, dont jam the keeper in as tight as possible, allow the net roll to turn easy

We have a 648 NH and Ive heard many great things about Kubota balers, you will be very very pleased with your trade

Bruce that 72 per is kicking it out.. Next thing is you will be in line to buy the new one coming that is continuous bale . Double chamber un it .

Dang.... My old Hesston 540 does about 12-14 bales an hour... Takes longer to tie than to bale. Be hard to convince the missus on a new Kubota for 40 acres of hay though....lol
