2008. Any one know of wrecked ford v8 F250 4x4 Need 2 cam shafts lifters rocker arms for left side. or any ford wrecked or used engine. I priced the best in my opinion Jasper for over $6000. Sure
ure would like to fine good used left side cams and relatd parts Truck is not a rust bucker and when fixed properly will last me as long as I will be able to drive. Already have new engine front

Nuttin again you the cheapest way I can get out and make the most money is to run that job off.

It's the valve train that is the biggest problem on those but not necessarily cams/rockers/followers. I wouldn't really trust used parts, have you priced Ford parts. I wouldn't touch that job either and if lobes or rollers went down, where did the metal go? Also I wouldn't do this job without doing the chains, guides, tensioners, phasers and solenoids.
 
Left side Cams? Your engine is a SOHC (Single Overhead Cam) engine! It has 1 cam over each head, not 2! Which means it has 2 cams total for that engine, not 4!
 
I do not say this to many times . try to avoid it. You are not correct. I am old and having lots of problems. Counting to 4 is not one of the problems
 
So, What engine does this truck have that's a DOHC (Double Overhead Cam)? The only gas engines that I know of Ford putting in a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty are the 5.4L Triton SOHC (Single Overhead Cam) V8 and the 6.8L Triton SOHC (Single Overhead Cam) V10.
