Roundup shortage?

Anybody else having problems getting Roundup? All of the stores I visited in Indiana are out. They were told early in the season there would be a shortage. Anybody else hearing this? I have enough to finish this year but am concerned about next year.

I use Liberty (glyphosanate) instead of Roundup (glyphosate) I needed to spray some of my beans a second time. When I called my usual supplier he said he is out and can't get any more. He didn't know of anyone who had it. I only needed 10 gallons. Called my local co-op and bought 4 of their last 10 jugs. Paid to much but what you gonna do.

We just got 15 two hundred fifty gallon totes and filled the 1500 gallon bulk tank . We wont use any round up or glyphosate until spring .

I agree with iagary i just spray fence rows no crops i cant see any difference in round up or the generic brand nut cost about half

They said earlier this spring that it was in short supply and was expensive. I got super lucky with the weather this spring and was able to get right back in and spray my corn with atrazine and Accumen pre emerge, and it did a great job, so I didn't have to use any Roundup.

Generic supply of glyphosate is in rough shape as well for the time being. Other chemicals were sold out last year based on pre-season orders. New York also mandated that dicamba products could not be used after July 1 so a further issue not that the current generation of dicamba products were available. Farmers should be concerned as to next year. Will another shutdown cut into production? Are manufacturers limiting output to raise prices? There have been too many problems this year as it was with a dry May and June followed by a very wet July. Guys had pre-emergence chemicals fail and when post emergence work needed to be done it was raining just about everyday. Wheat on well drained ground got done slowly but on the heavy soil there is still quite a bit out there. I'm frustrated but there is nothing else to do around here.

Liberty and Roundup are to completely different products and work differently. Some beans can be sprayed with either and some can't.
