Been using a Samsung that is about 8 years old looking at going to a SAMSUNG GALAXY A52 Wondering if anyone on here had one and if so how do you like it. I am not an I pad guy.

Jerry,
For me setting up a new phone is a BPIA. I recommend going to Best buy, get a pre paid phone. They set up auto pay via credit card and buy your phone. Best buy will set up new phone.
Transfers everything from old phone. I think it's cheaper in the long run. Contract phones are more expensive. I use Galaxy J3 I think. Small enough for top bib pocket on my library bibs.
No contracts. You own your phone. You might get extended warranty. I just buy cheapest phone. Around $100.

If you just want a phone,I got a cell phone from Walmart for $12.99 and get 300 minutes a month from Verizon for $15.The phone actually has a camera and I can receive text messages,I do not text.

I also buy my phone and no contracts. My daughter can cut it all over but I went to Best buy today. That is actually where I decided what I wanted to get. Bad thing is they could not sell the one on display and said may be 6 weeks before they can get another. I am like you have to watch size.

I brought a A71 in January, Spectrum came out with a plan in June I could not beat 14 a gig I rarely use over a 1/2 a gig. The killer was I had to buy a phone I got a A52 its the same as the A71 just a tad smaller. Its the same phone same camera and yes I like it better than the 71.

With the trade in I lost $100 on the 71.

I got the case and cover from Amazon. I tote it in my cargo pocket so no need for a belt holster.

Galaxy A52 Case with Camera Cover,Galaxy A52 Slim Fit Thin Polycarbonate Protective Shockproof Cover with Slide Camera Cover, Upgraded Case for Samsung Galaxy A52 5G/4G (Black)

Yes the camera cover is hard to open if you close it all the way. I don't push it shut till it locks.

Ferilinso [5 Pack] 3 Pack Screen Protector + 2 Pack Camera Lens Protector for Samsung Galaxy A52 4G&5G [HD] [Tempered-Glass] [Case Friendly] [Anti-Fingerprint] [Easy Installation]

BTW Spectrum with Verizon service no contract. I have great Verizon service as a Verizon tower is in my back yard.

Man that is the answer I was just hopeing for when I made the post. Saves me a ton of time on the
accessory shopping and I was going to go the Amazon route on the accessories. The size is what sold
me..Just got to find one now.. Again Hobo thanks a million.

Been using a Samsung A50 a couple years now and love it. The A series may not be top end with all the latest bells and whistles, but a very good phone.

I also have the A71. It's one of my work phones, I don't use it too often, but it works fine. Lot of features I don't use yet, so I can't say anything about all of it, but for phone, text, photos, browser I have no complaint.

Good audio quality, decent but not great screen.

Jerry,
Best buy is my go to place for phones, chrome book, appliances, business supplies,
Bust buy is like going to RK for tractor supplies.
Went to best Buy to buy Karen a Canon, same story out stock.
Amazon to the rescue, same price. Great starter camera for someone who
loves taking pics of flowers and wild Life.
Is there another Best buy within driving distance?
I had to drive to Avon RK to buy what I wanted. About an hour away.
Close to Granddaughter.

I have some dodads (flir pro camera) that fit my old phone but not the new phone. Adapters id needed

've had a tracfone for about 20 years. The phone is usually free, but I have paid up to $20 for one. 800 minutes and 2 year's service cost $150, or about $7/month. Good enough for me. They do have smart phones too, and eventually I'll probably have to get one. For now I'm happy with the flip phone.
