So Ive been having this issue with my flex wing cutter leaving a strip of uneven cut on the right side of the center deck , and also the wings towards the hinges will leave clumps or uneven cuts , Ive posted here about it and all the suggestions I was given Ive ran through before (pto, leveling, loose gearbox) at this point Im just grasping at straws , could the front tires toe in toe out affect the cutting ? I have another cutter thats doing the exact same thing in the exact same place , and my
Old one uste to cut just fine , thanks in advance

Is the bottom of the deck cleaned out? Is
there a stick caught somewhere pushing
grass down?
The fact you have another doing the same
thing points to operator error but I don't
know what that could be.

Yes sir I have , cleaned it all off a few times
But no matter the leveling or anything else I do the problem persists in those exact same spots

Changing the cutter with the same results is telling you that the material you re cutting is being compressed below the blade height, and being
partially cut, partially snarled, and mowing 2X in the opposite direction with an offset of a foot or two might help. Try it on a different field.

Ive cut on short fields and tall ones , its just way more noticeable on the taller ones then the shorts , another thing is where the tire marks are it doesnt lift that grass up it just lays it down , which is why Im wondering if the tires up front have anything to do with it that maybe its dragging the cutter at an odd angle and I just cant tell

The normal (in general) tractor specification for front tire toe in is 1/8 measured as follows. Jack up the front wheels (one art a time is OK). use
a board with a nail protruding to mark the tires by putting the board stationary against the ground, and rotating the tire to make a mark in the tread
near the center of the tread 360 degrees. The marks will be reference for the next step. move the tractor forward and stop making sure to allow zero
backing up. measure from one mark to the other at the front of the tires, then at the back. The difference will be 2X the toe in.
I find it difficult to believe the toein could cause the issue unless it was so far out thet it would be difficult to steer. Id there a loader on the
tractor, or substantial rront weights? Jim

Check to see if it has the correct blades on it. If the blades are incorrect and it is trying to cut material with the back edge of a blade, that could cause issues.

That chunky tractor likely needs a mower blade with some suction to lift the material into the blades. Good luck. Jim

can you post photo of the area being cut as in so we can see problem you are having after cut and grass to be cut in front of tractor

I would guess your problem comes from the tractor wheels running down real tall stuff so the blades dont cut everything in the
wheel tracks.

I think some else asked, but I'm not sure if you answered-are the
blades installed in the proper direction of rotation? I have seen
brand new blades installed on the wrong side, and they hit the
grass/weeds with the back side. It will knock the grass down, and do a
little better on weeds, but they don't cut. Also are the blades
correct-are they the proper length? If they are too short, there would
be strips of uncut grass. Mark.
