806 disel injector pump

I recently replaced my Stanadyne injector pump. The old one died. The new pump works great but, I am leaking Diesel fuel into the crank case. The shaft that goes through the pump has no o-rings on it. Are there o-rings inside the pump? I put it together carefully. Any other ideas? Thank you

You mean a Roosa Master pump? As TV says, the seals are in the pump drive houseing.Twp seals going oppsite directions. One seal keeps fuel in
the pump and out of the engine. The other keeps oil in the engine and out of the pump. You take the little plate off the front, remove the
drive gear then slide the drive out the rear

All seals are on the pump shaft. Should be two lip seals in their grooves as Delta Steve said. Put the seals onto shaft back to back.. Check timing,, lub both seals and pump sleeve, use a tool to compress the first seal and slide injector pump over seals,, Be-careful.. Set pump timing and tighten pump nuts..

No seals on the shaft for an 806. Like others said, seals are in the adaptor housing, regular lip seals pressed into housing. It is the smaller engines that use the cup seals on the shaft it's self.

Anytime I repair an IH 361/407 pump I INSIST on bringing the drive adapter to replace those seals, makes no sense to remove/replace the pump without replacing the drive
seals too.

Ah NO they are NOT . like Pete said they are in the adapter housing . I have made a good living working on I H tractors for over 40 years and know them well enough i can tell you what wrenches ya need for what job . Been around the 806's since the end of Aug. 1963 when the first one to hit the state of Ohio at the Canfield fair . The man i worked for Bought that tractor and a week later my uncle bought the second one to hit this state . I personally have lost count of the 806's that i have bought and sold and own one now . If i tell you something about one or how to fix it you can take that to the bank . One of my 806's made the cover of Fast line as well as my S/MTa, and it is also in the video of the 94 Red Power round up . And Oh BTW i still make house calls and fix tractors .

Hello Danny welcome to YT! I am not experienced with the 806 but it sounds like that is correct by what is written above. If you want a more direct answers to other questions I would recommend posting it in your own “Thread” or topic of discussion by using the red “Post Thread” button at the top right. To access the main “Tractor and Farm Talk” page where you will see the “New Thread” button you will need to scroll up and click “Tractor and Farm Talk” wording at the top left. Clicking the red tractor silhouette at the top of the page will take you to all the forums sections on YT. Scrolling down from there you will see the “Manufacturers” section where there is also a forum devoted to Farmall and IH tractors.
