Poor little Nuffield 3/45, the sister to my 4/65.
Another excellent offering from the British Motor Corporation, It was designed for
BMC by the Harry Ferguson Design team and proved not to be well liked by farmers
because of the design of the bonnet, the move away from the original Nuffield
styling and the look of the tractor.
The 3/45 was originally the Nuffield Universal 3 then the Nuffield 3/42. 10/42 and
finally developed into the 3/45. Originally designed to compete with the FE35, MF 35
and Fordson Dexta, the Nuffield three cylinder range was much bigger and heavier
than its competitors but had superior traction and pulling power.

Might look ugly now, but it will probably run, old Nuffield tractors ran great, but most like this one , had been neglected
