On line auction bought a non running Case 530 gas, power steering, real good rear tires and rims, sheet metal good except grill screens a little beat. Will see it in person tomorrow when I go pick it up,with fees and tax ended up just a little under $500, hope I'm not stuck too bad always liked the looks of those. Also got a nice looking 6ft pull type brush hog $200 and a
3pt one bottom plow looks good $20.

My brother has one and has no regrets at all. Good bit. the tires are worth that. Don't let Jon find out. Jim

For 5 unless the tires are some cheap junk you made that much on rubber alone especially if they are a size you can use on something else you have

Always liked the looks of those tractors, not many in my area ever come up for sale so I'll be heading out in a few minutes only about 60 miles away at Front Royal VA.They have the closet Rural King I'll stop in there too.

I want a diesel with com some day. They are a very handy tractor. Most all parts are available for them so they are easy to keep running.

Very handy tractor. Early ones may have a hand clutch to stop the tractor yet keep the PTO live (you will be used to that from running Allis Chalmers's in the past) where the later ones are independent PTO clutched for the live PTO.

Might be 4 speed, 8 speed, or 12 speed. The older it is the more likely it will be a 12 speed and the newer it is the more likely it will be an 8 speed. 4 speeds are out there too but more rare and less desirable in my opinion but still work okay.

Spent a lot of my youth on Dad's 430 diesel (4 speed independent PTO). Same basic tractor in most ways as a 530 with the fuel not turned up as much on the pump so about 5 less hp. Ours was well worn when we bought it but we used it that way for years. Sipped fuel. Dad loved that tractor. It was our main planting tractor and cultivating tractor. Would occasionally plow with it (2x16 Oliver 3 point plow which it played with) and occasionally would even see 12' harrow gator duty when in a pinch which loaded it good but it would do it.

Your price is excellent You always seem to find good deals in your area.

Its a gas 12 speed with the hand clutch, everything about this tractor is original as far as I can see not butchered up at all.Auctioneer said when I picked it up that it was parked about 5 years ago when the owner could no longer run it,they pulled it with the brush hog still hooked up out the shed it was parked in with a roll back.Rear tires are like new.
