A guy I worked with back in the '70s went on a service call. He used a street sign post/pipe as cheater bar to loosen a bolt. Mark.
 
I broke the jaw on a 48 inch pipe wrench using a cheater. Now I head for the cutting torch. Stan
 
Ive had a big cheater on this one a few times with a couple 300 pound guys hanging on it breaking taper lock hubs loose on Ford tractors and John Deere . Had the loader on it a couple years ago breaking the rack bolt loose on my 3020

Was trying to break an oil well head loose one time with a 48 and it didn't budge. Picked up a 30 foot piece of 2 7/8 inch tubing nearby as a cheater. It was all I could do to hold the pipe but it broke loose.
