Patriot John Adams in a letter to his wife Abigail on April 3,1776 ,Philadelphia.

The second day of July 1776 will be the most memorable epica in the history of America. I'm aft
to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It
ought to be solemnized with pomp and parades with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and
illuminations. From one end of this continent to the other. From this time forward for evermore.

Our founding fathers had to have been divinely inspired to come up with such wisdom and foresight to the ways our freedom could be challenged by future generations of politicians and our enemies!

The Don't Tread on me Flag is called the Gadsden Flag and was flown on US Navy ships before The Stars and Stripes, It was given to the Marine that fought in the Revolutionary War. Read it's history and you will be very pleased . It is authorized to be flown on all US Navel vessels today.

This day should be correctly called Independence Day. Fourth of July is a date. Sorry I do not intend to sound rude. I learned this from the American Legion
