and children of all ages. what hobbyist hay farmer in the east does not have a well used up manual fold four spinner tedder that has slop in the outer wings. I have such an animal and thought I would try this complex design to help hold the outer spinner in place. Simply a piece of 7/16 all thread with a nylon lock nut on one end and a hitch clip on the other end. It does add another small step in the process of manually folding and unfolding the wings. I have not used it yet. any and all criticisms are welcome.

This chain link I attached to the worn out tedder 15 years ago and it is still working fine today. Stronger, better design then when new. Tedder spinners are free to follow the ground grades.
