Wife saw this one on Facebook marketplace, 2 hours later it was on our trailer! 10+ years since it ran. Came with some nice planter and cultivator parts. That's 2 cubs in a week and 3 this month. We may need an intervention.......

Maybe Larry, Sweetfeet and Richard G should get a hippie bus together for a road trip. I'd join the ride to come down for the intervention. Let me know where to meet the bus.
 
You're down south, Alabama I think? How far do you range out, maybe I need to throw a chain and padlock on my cub in case it tries to jump on when you're going by!

If they have been in the sun for ten years they're so hard you'll never wear them out !
 
Sorry to say, you have a severe case of rustitis, unfortunately there is NO KNOWN CURE, but, you are in good company, as there are many here that have varying degrees of this illness. :>)
All we can do is comfort and support each other, by the way, nice catch on your latest purchase.
 
Perhaps a vaccination to prevent cub fever?

Haven't been to Iowa since I was a kid. My grandparents lived in Lansing, on the Mississippi river. But if there's a Cub.....
 
9.50x20 truck tires and rims. I had a set of cub centers that had the holes that bolt to the rim wallowed out, so I set them up in the mill on a rotary table and cut the OD down to the inside diameter of a truck rim. Leveled the rim up and blocked the center on the welding bench and welded the centers in the rims. Remounted the tires and good to go. I was quite pleased with the runout on them, probably less than a 1/4 inch.

Best part was everything was free, all I had was the time to modify and put it together.
