John Deere 5115M?

I'm looking at one. Brand new. To replace my 20 year old chore tractor. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks.

Good tractor. Just know that it does not have the closed center hydraulics of the larger JD tractors. Very good chore tractor

Yes. I noticed that. I would have to move up to a 5115R in order to opt for the PFC hydraulics. I have a larger John Deere tractor with the premium PFC hydraulics now and really haven't had any use for it. I like the 5 series because they offer good power and weight and I can go with 60-inch tread settings for planting. Also a handy size for the loader work I do.

Bill, i have a 5090m which is very similar to your tractor, just not tweeked for extra horsepower. I like it a lot- far superior to what i had before. Has the weight and substance to be a real workhorse.
No problems so far and starts good in the winter. Mine has the economy PTO which gives you 540 at around 1600
Enjoy!

Thanks. That's what I like to hear because I'll be going with JD next. I'm surrounded by 14 John Deere dealers and their parts support and service is impeccable. Not so with CIH and Kubota.
