....got some much needed rain. Over 2 inches overnight with more on the way. More than we've had in the last 10 weeks. Thank you God!

Ditto!!!! We were burning up here in Western Illinois. The grass looked like August, hope it comes back ok. We had 2 yesterday and .9 the day before. Calling for chances of rain for the next week.
 
I just dumped 4 inches out of the gauge. That was total since Thursday. It was already raining again before I got back in the house and still is. Looks like it's gonna train that way for quite a while. My sump pump ran a couple of times early this morning, so it must be soaking in.
 
After months of ZERO rain and 2 weeks of record heat,we are in a rainy spell. Cooler temps,in the 80s.Feels good,but I have hay on the ground. And a bunch of p!$$&d off customers.Like it's all my fault it rained?Forecast is rain the next week. :)
 
Farmers in the Ottawa Valley of eastern Ontario are very happy today as most of the rain this spring has been going to the south along the great lakes and St. Lawrence River or way to the north of us.
 
We are getting a nice shower as I write this. Looks like we have a couple of days coming. NEEDED. Kinda changed my plans for the day and I couldn't be happier!!
 
My Brother said he dumped 5.75 inches from his gauge. He said a neighbour 2 miles north of me got 8 inches and east of here 5 miles or so they got 9. Dover Centre , Ont.
