Tractor runs great for 20-25 minutes then accelerates and then dies. Wait a while and it will fire again. Changed fuel filter and drained sediment bowl. Disconnected fuel line at tank and fuel gushes?

There is a thimble strainer at the rear (inlet) end of the main fuel pump. The chances are that it will be severely restricted. The strainer is very delicate so be careful how you remove it. Take special note also of the component parts and how they came out.
