Anyone know where to find the front half of the PTO shaft on a Beefco tiller thinks its a Model G42?

What kind of shaft. Square rectangle lemon tube or tricot shaped. Agri supply has a lot of choices not sure if they will have one heavy enough for your job. Will have to buy the whole shaft and then steal the front half for it or change the whole thing.

Yup, it's most likely a common shaft which you can get at the more well stocked farm supply outfits.
Otherwise the answer is, "off of your neighbors Befco G42 tiller."
If you want factory parts, Messick's lists them as do other places online.
BTW it's Befco, one E, not Beefco. Beefco is if you want to buy steaks.
