first day of summer and i was cutting hay. hay is looking good and pretty heavy. lucky i had a working TA on one 4 acre piece had to go in low gear and ta back in most of it. due to some fescu in there. other 10 acre piece is alfalfa, brome, timothy mix and could go in second gear. cows be happy this winter they can have some tender hay. alfalfa just starting to bloom and the brome and timothy was just heading out.

I just got in the house from cutting some more. I thought I'd be cutting the last of it today, but another shower just popped up and they're saying rain Friday, so hopefully I can get what I have down rolled up by Thursday night. As as soon as this stops, I'm heading out to move some bales. The alfalfa's good yet, but some of the grasses are awful ripe.

i finished the rest off today, checked on what i yesterday cut and with that wind blowing today it sure is drying. try to bale tommorrow.

I was mowing one day and baling the next, last week just be for this rain every 3 days thing came. Sure glad I got it done then.
