Several curiosities;
Why is the radiator screened in?
Six injector lines, and four exhaust ports?
Designed so there's no weight on the idler and sprocket?

Cletrac MG1 high speed tractor. Missing the fenders, skirting
around the operators platform and the windshield along with a
few other odds and ends. Used as an aircraft tug during WW2
and the years following.

So would the tracks have been mostly covered up? On you tube I got a glimpse of a Cletrac, on an island, on Mono lake, in California. The tracks were totally covered in tin work.

Bob B. I suspect the design of no weight on the drive sprocket or idler was for the machine to set on a suspension system or in other words support by springs. This is for smoother operation at high speeds. Hard to suspend the rear drive train. Could suspend the front idler sprockets but that would present a number of engineering difficulties to overcome.
