This was a neat little machine. It baled good bales also.

ales look small to me, too. Looks like it might have two engines...air cooled (maybe Wisconsin) and another. Maybe one for baler & another for motivation?
 
New Holland 166, the selfpropelled version of the 66 baler And yes 2 of the Wisconsin 2 cylinder engines. One to move the unit and the other to power the baler. NO veriable speed, Ford I think transmission and rear end. Friend has one.
 
Wonder if they ever pulled a wagon behind and loaded direct on wagon? Probably a little underpowered for that??
 
I am not sure about that but my friend wanted the wagon hitch for his that did not have any. I had junked a standard NH 66 and had the hitch so he was going to put it on his. Haven't seen it since he was going to do that.
 
OK. I'll get some pic's and post them. Might be a day or two. 90 * here today, and got to rake up some hay and bale it
Should have baled it yesterday, as Usual.
