I posted part eight on the case forum, And I will finish up with part nine here this evening. Day three of the WHO ride came to a close with minor issues. The case DC-4Performed magnificently! My one and a half year restoration paid off in all the right places. I made a Financial contribution to the local FFA Madison county chapter. There Director has done a magnificent job in bringing the right kind of tools for young men and women to broaden their skills. Im headed back to Chesapeake Virginia tomorrow morning safe travels Godspeed.Heres Mike Fitzs truck dog! Chuck machinist

Thanks for taking us along Chuck. Enjoyed traveling with ya. Maybe when i'm old and retired i can do what your doing (couldn't resist). Would like to do some tractor drives sometime tho. RB

Glad to hear everything went well on the WHO ride. It was good to meet you in Bellvue, wish I could have gone to Indianola, but that's a little too far for me. I got home and decided I needed to replace the clutch in the 1550. While the motor and Hydra Power are out, it would be a good time to replace leaking seals in the Hydra Power. The brakes are kinds grabby, so I took them apart to clean them up and I have a pinion seal leaking on the left side. Oh, ya, the rear main seal is leaking also. Parts are just starting to arrive, looks like I will have to take the 880 to the ride on Saturday and try to get it all back together next week. Have a safe trip home!!
