I used 1 oz RM 43 43% roundup per gallon
And 1 oz 2, 4 d 47% per gallon .
I buy chemicals at RK.
I look for the most concentration and cheapest per gallon. Sometimes you pay more per gallon that is per mixed.

2-4-5 d was used in Vietnam, agent orange. I'm sticking with 1 oz per gallon of 2-4-d. Did great job on weeds.

Next time I'll add 2 oz per of roundup to kill the grass.

I have essentially zero experience with spraying so am curious if you add anything [ or see the need to] such as liquid soap to help adhesion to the foliage?

Your result look great by the way.

I usually add a little ammonium sulphate to the mix, to speed thing up.

They say not to use dish soap because it has ION's in it. Spray surfactant is Non-Ionic. Surfactant breaks the surface tension of the water.

NO SOAP, Just what I listed about. Used pull
behind sprayer from RK. Sprayed last saturday. Go
back to Saturday and check my post about pull
behing sprayer.

For grass you really don't need to add a surfactant with Glypho. You can just about hold the jug of Roundup up in front of the grass and the grass will die of fright. Well, not quite but you know what I mean. If you are trying to kill broadleaf weeds, especially broadleaves with shiny leaves you will want to use a surfactant with straight Rounup. The 2-4D you mixed in with the Roundup will handle most of the annual broadleaves well enough with no extra help.

Be sure to buy LV 24d Ester not the amine. Like Big T said 24d is not agent orange just part of it, the bad stuff 2,4,5 T.

What is the difference and why is ester better? Thanks.
