That would make a good loader tractor with those front wheels.

IH 634 tractor built at Doncaster works from 1967 to 1971 and fitted wiyh the BD281
indirect injection glowplug start diesel engine. The one in the picture has the
Roadless 4W/D convertion and IH also offerd the tractor with a County convertion
with 4 large wheels. I worked at an IH dealer as a salesman from early 1972 and for
the next few years I took a lot in part exchange for 674 tractors but you had to
water ballast the read wheels and also fit a set of wheel weights to equal the
pulling power of a 2 whee drive 634. The 634 was a very unrelible tractor and every
one I took in part exchange either had a transmission fault or a hydraulic lift
fault or sometimes both. MJ.
