I have been trying to find a parts manual for an old Galfre C-250/Walton WT8 tedder. The only place I can find one is as an E-manual PDF. The site says they are free, but I am very leery. Can any one recommend a reliable and safe e-manual site?

Most I've encountered claim to be "free" but want credit card info.

AIN'T gonna happen.

IIRC, someone posted on one of these Forums about getting "hacked" when he clicked on one of those manual sites, so, I'm with you it sure is wise to be very very leery of them.

Have you checked Gensales and fleabay?

Tried both Gensales and ebay..no luck. I need to do a major repair and would like to know where to start the disassembly.

I rather doubt anyone will do free manuals. Some folks sell manuals as a business so free doesn't help them. Did you try Craig at Oconto, WI? He has a manual business and advertises regularly here under Photo Ads - Literature category. I've bought from Craig and the manual I received was exactly as he described it - good man.

I've heard Jensales manuals are not to clear. What I saw of one I looked at was just that not very clear to blurry to read. Might have just been that one in particular too.

Galfre is still in business, but probably anything they have would be in Italian! Still might be worth asking.

Don't trust the free online manual sites. I got hit with a virus poking around in one of those sites. Had to do a system reset to get out of it. Just out of curiosity, I went back and sure enough it tried to get me again. So I proved it came from the 'free manual site'!

That is by far the most info I have seen. It is very helpful. Thank you very much for your effort and help.

Galfre sent me a pdf parts manual but I can't figure how to upload a pdf. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

The past 7-8 years I have found Italian tech support to be very accommodating. We use a lot of Italian iron in the business I work for and it's second to none.

I don't think you can upload pdfs to this site. Email it to him is likely the easiest.
