High of $3.19 most station $3.09. Flagstaff is a tourist town so they target the flat landers and the locals suffer in stride.

$3.20-3.29 for bottom of the line E10 Gasahol in Northern NY. Premium is $4.19 IIRC. $3.90 for non-ethanol mid grade at the local corner store.

Gotta love NYS taxes!!! $.61 per gallon in tax!

Think it's still 3.19 in N. Ill., has been for about two months except last weekend went it jumped to 3.25.

Ummm, actually Glen ....... world oil prices (and other factors too) tend to be one reason for fuel prices and despite what you might think, where you or I or anyone else lives or who the boss is doesn't have a whole lot to do with it. Although we think otherwise, nobody lives at the center of the universe these days. You knew that of course but it's fun posting a snide political comment now and then just to keep it interesting right?

Hi George, this morning it was $1.25 per litre up here in central Alberta, Canada (in CDN dollars). So that comes out to $4.72 CDN for a US gallon which flips out to about $3.77 USD per US gallon. Our gas prices are probably as low as anywhere in Canada so it's not cheap .... but name me anything that's cheap these days.

93 octane was $3.79 the other day when I filled up one of the Mercs.

Dont really know what 87 is. Havent needed it lately.

Well DRATS it was fairly steady and lower the past few years, but after cancelling Keystone,,,, And after cancelling some leases a few month back,,,, And after another round of cancellations the other day (which may or may not have had anything whatsoever to do with it, Im NOT saying, NOT blaming, its complicated and a there are a ton of complex possibilities, darn if I know or doubt anyone here could prove) its risen a lot and fairly rapidly the past months grrrrrrrrrrrr

Oh well lets all hang in there and work together until the economy, jobs, and rising prices (gas and groceries and lumber etc etc) improves yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

God Bless America, keep her safe keep her great.........

Yall take care now, be Happyyyyy

Crazy Horse,If you're from Canada don't comment on our country's politics!I've seen some of your comments and ignorance is bliss in your case. This forum is not for you to comment on the USA.

What legislation was passed that increased the cost of gasoline? Or what executive order was signed to increase the cost of gasoline?

What is the Keystone line?
What is the Keystone XL line?
What are the difference?
How many actually knew that there are two Keystone lines?

The Keystone Line has pumped oil from the Tar Fields in Canada to the Gulf of Mexico non-stop since 2010. (there may of been a few interruptions)

The Keystone XL was shut down recently. This is a different line than the Keystone line, even though both lines start in the Tar Fields in Canada, the XL takes a short cut and meets up with Keystone Line in Steele City Nebraska.

The Keystone has never pumped oil to its full capacity. This year will be the most oil that it will deliver, but still not to its full capacity.

So how can this XL line that has never pumped one drop of oil affect the gas price?
Actually the XL line was not schedule for completion until 2022 or 2023, so how can this line be a reason to why the gas price is climing?

$2.79 for regular (10% alcohol) this afternoon in SE SD, same as it has been for the last 60 days or so.

Why did they build the second line when the first line was not pumping to its full capacity?

Why are we depending on foreign oil?

I remember in the early 2000's when gas was $4.00 + per gallon everyone was crying that we are dependent on foreign oil. Then in 2009 it dropped to $2.25 per gallon (average) and the cry's were gone.

Canada is foreign oil.

The factor is our current POTUS, prices will increase over and over now that we will no longer be energy independent and have to rely on foreign oil. The illegitimate leader of this great nation is sinking us fast !

Cancellation of the XL pipeline raises
prices due to the interjection of
instability in the market place. Since
our current administration has ties to
trucking, they want the oil hauled so it
pads his pocket. Which is many times less
safe than a pipeline. Less threat from
competition from the pipeline also leaves
the trucking free to raise hauling costs.

Agreed, Grayrider.

Anyone who thinks that governmental hostility toward the oil industry does not affect costs/prices simply does not understand the world in which we live.

Sadly it is not just oil it is also thing used to put food on the table and things used to protect our self's from anything that means us harm. If they cannot take the one they will take what it take to make them work. Plus anything that burns fuel.

(quoted from post at 18:38:38 06/04/21) Gas hit $3.09 in TH.
What's it in your hood?

In SE Ohio, has come down a few pennies to 2.939 lowest to high of 2.979, varies by location about town.

You are correct about the number of Keystone pipelines Haymaker .... and for others who misunderstand, it was only the newer Keystone EXPANSION LINE which was cancelled, it never did pump a quart of oil. The other ones are pumping oil as we type and have been for many years. Eventually, if the world needs oil (which isn't the case right now and might never be), it might be finished, who knows?

Mike ...... so it appears you are a self-appointed administrator now. Please send your silly and childish rule to the administrators of this site and see what they tell you to do with it. They'll have a good laugh. Unless of course you can find it somewhere here and if you do, please refer me to where it is posted. Actually, you are the second guy here that told me that, one other grumpy old fart said the same thing a few months back when the capital was being stormed.
