Spark plugs---

well back in the day pretty well every tractor brand had D16 in them. you probably want a hotter plug though for playing around.

I dont know ! but I go buy ngk ab6 works good for yard work and shows .I have not plowed or did belt work ,or really worked a tractor in many years. So I add this for your edification and amusement.
Heres what the ih people wrote as a guide , what you should use , for reference

Rustred is correct. D-16 was the choice when using the tractor under normal conditions (at or near full load for hours) if that is the case that is the plug. D-21 is the hottest plug, and with today's better fuel (I am a believer in ethanol blends) they are good for short run time puttering around operation, or if the engine fouls colder plugs. There are heat ranges between so choosing is easy. Jim
