Got a set of tires for the '74 cub. Will
put those used ones on the Cub from NC.
New tires were $106 each. Tubes $30.
Wire wheeled my spare rims. 3 coats of
primer. Painted the inside with leftover
Grinch paint! Will freak someone out in
a few years!!!

I will give you a little advise. Do not paint inside the rims unless you leave them for at least a week or more to cure. If you have a flat you probably destroy the tube pulling it out. It will be stuck to that paint. I only lightly prime the inside there is no reason to paint the inside. But its just advise.

What brand are they ? I paint the inside too to help cover any perfections left over from liquid death .

I like your price better than what the new tires for the 1550 cost. 2 15.5x38 tires and tubes and 2 6.00x16 front tires and tubes cost $1315 with tax, I have to mount them.

I might have missed it, whatever happened to the trade you made for the cub then the guy wanted it back, sorry if you already told the ending.

I bought some new 18.4-38's and the dealer said could be used tube or tubeless I chose tubeless. What way is the better way to go?

gblj, he found an Allis B collector near him and after a few minutes talking to him he decided the Allis was a good tractor and he is keeping it.

Screen shot of what I posted the other day. Everything we did to get that cub running.

I let the new paint on the inside of rims cure for a few weeks to lessen the chance the tube will stick to it before mounting up the tire and tube.
