Funny when I went to post this I saw the post below about the super A cultivating......

Crispy in the corn

Do you have hillers for that thang...

A few weeks ago I ran the rolling cultivators thru mine. This week its a foot tall I side dressed it with the fertilizer hopper while rolling the dirt to it with the hillers. Throwing the dirt to it helps it from blowing over when a wind storm comes up...

I also side dressed and rolled the dirt to my beans... I mulch every thing but the corn once it mulched I am done : )

I am building a mulch station to stock plie leaves, grass etc. My son lives in the rich part of town I can load up with clean mulch with what they dump on the side of the street...

Hobo. Got hillers, when it dries a bit I
will roll some dirt up around the corn.
Thanks for the suggestion

BTW I dunno if I told ya a trick to use with that planter you got. I hill its tuff to keep it tracking and rolling straight in loose dirt. I make a dry run are two with mine then add the seed. Doing it that way if you have clumps and such you can use the planter to knock/crush them out of the way. When done I have a 3/4" troth that holds water good. I water with a garden hose its fast and I am done...

Bigger tractor bigger sweeps : )

I use at least 16" sweeps on the rear they almost will do all the cultivating : )... I have two Farmalls both set up for a different job wink wink...

Do you have a fertilizer hopper set up for a cub ?... I am done with mine other than when the okra gets up about a foot I will side dress and roll the dirt to it just like I do to the corn...

A cultipacker has not fell into my lap yet : ( I don't have an issue at my place it is an issue across the street where its more so clay... I just picked up a 71" tiller it turns the dirt to power as I watch my tops soil blow away...

Might do a little pruning too. I saw a lot of suckers at the base of many of the stalks and you get better ears if u pull those.
