Front end bolster plate removal

The threaded bolster plate on my Ford 841 is elongated and needs to be replaced. I purchased new plates, and I am in the process of removing the old ones. I believe I have the welds completely cut on both sides of the plate. I can see microscopic movement when I pry on the sides of the plate, but it still seems to be attached. There are 3 dimples in the plate. Do I need to drill those out in order to remove the plate? I started working on one of them and thought I would ask before going any further.

They look likes staked rivets to me. Jim

I think you may be right. I drilled them out and they weren't as hard as I think a weld would be.
