I bet we still 3-4 weeks away here in central alabama..... Weird weather. Last year by this time we had cut and baled 3 feilds.

I cut some this week and sure enjoyed the cool temps. The northeast wind and low humidity helped to dry it down nice.

Some hay is being cut around here and there, most of it is being chopped for silage. IMHO -in my neck of the woods, still to cold to make dry hay.

Nice looking round bales.

We should be done chopping monday. Been here cool here. Easy to walk on it in the pit.Not drying like it normally does. RB

Nice pic ! Hay around here wont be for around a month and a half ! Night time temps still in the mid 30s and days just starting to get into the 60s. Next week will be warmer, but were still a good ways off yet !

Mine is ready to cut but rain is in the forecast for the next 10 days...if it stops then it will be 10 more before I could think about it with all the rain we have had and high humidity.
