Have you ever had to write out a tractor list. than find out that the question they asked was different than what you thought. here is the question they asked me. 1- how many tractors do you own. 2- How many of these run. 3- How many of these had a full restoration work done. 4-How many tractor fire restorations have you done. 5- how many tractors are you now working on. 6-how many tractors do you have waiting for tractor repairs or tractor restoration work. 7- What is your best source on tractor parts and tires that you use. 8-How many tractor do you sell a year. 9-Are you still looking for old tractors and what shape are you requiring to buy them in. 10 list those tractor that might have sentimental value is it because they been in family, the first tractor ever bought or other reasons. The last question is this a hobby or a business of being self employed.

So who says you HAVE to do this...

Insurance company?

Zoning authority?

Property taxation folks?

Or?
 
I was asked from a person who has a news letter for the area Live in. What had happen was when I moved to my
new home four years ago. they all gave me the nick name of the tractor guy. Some how this brought this person
to ask me if I would give him some information. At this time trying to be nice I said Shure why not. Did not
know he would give me question to answer. So I sat down and answered the questions which I have given to him.
It is interesting to me that every body in this small town of only 289 people do not already know this. I was
raised up with parents who always told me to be nice and do it if they ask you to.
 
I have to agree with you. the problem is when somebody ask if you can do this. I was taught to be nice and do what they had asked. After all it is going in the news flyer for my small town which is about 289 people. I did not know that when I moved to this area I was spotted moving all these tractors on my land. Which gave me the nick name of the tractor guy. I did note that Yes I do have more of these projects moving forward. that I have not been seating still but instead keeping a pace to get to competition of the tractor I do own. Ehich is a positive note for me.
 
I think you have the right thought. What do you tell a person that wants you to write some thing up for there news letter. You think this is going to be easy and fast to do. You are not ready to answer this type of Questions. You have no ideal that people spotted the old farm tractors around your house and given you the nick name of the tractor guy. I had no clue that this little town made me a person of interest.
 
Just buy more tractors. Love those words. After I answer the questions for this person news letter. I did put down that i am always looking for old tractors that could be for sale. My best friend and his girl friend know to never stop next to an old farm tractor. they know I will be out looking at it and trying to find the owner. Just so I can ask them if it is for sale. No wonder why my small town calls me the tractor guy.
