I am working on the tilt steering on my 856, part number 400193R91 is the part that tilts. There is a bushing that is wore out. I have looked on the Case IH website and I cannot find the bushing or a part number. I can find a whole new part, with a new bushing, but I just need the bushing. Can anyone tell me if the bushing is available by its self? Thanks

After looking at the parts diagram and seeing the price for whole bracket, I would look very hard to find a bushing to fit. Should be able to find one at a parts house or implement dealer.

I would find one to fit bracket and if necessary, ream to fit shaft. Snug as possible because they were never very tight from new on. Floppy comes to mind. Whole mechanism in fact so I would tighten all moving joints.

You may be able to find an off-the-shelf bushing that fits on-line, ONE source is www.mcmaster.com. Enter plain bearings in the search box at their site.

Also try www.baumhydraulics.com.

Measure what you have and give these folks a call. They will either have what you need or make it. I think their minimum order is $20 so find more you need and you will get all of them for that. I can get all the bushings for a case including front axle, seat, steering, and levers for about $30.
Reliable bronz

Last one i worked on we made the new bushing . I keep some bearing bronze on hand in several sizes for times like that . a little lathe time and your back up and running .
