I knew DEERE used more wheels from Motor Wheel than I did at FARMALL. I had ONE wheel, a 15x34 steel disk wheel used on 560's, 656, 666, 686 & H86 ONLY. The rim had two valve stem holes, we used a rubber plug to seal one, and a pop-in valve stem in the other which garanteed 50% of them leaked flat the first 24 hours. ENGINEERING said our 15.5x38 and 18.4x34 tires, 6 & 8 ply, R-1 & R-2-0 were tubeless. I threatened to buy machined brass rim plugs with rubber gaskets, and buy a bunch of 18.4x34 inner tubes, but the tire room supervisor said he wouldn't use them. Our tubeless tires had about a 5% flat percentage, our tube-type less than ONE percent.
Ohh, the Girl that did my same job at Deere Waterloo sat behind me in Spanish class my Jr & Sr. years in HS, I was friends with her brother.

I used to haul dodge wheels out of Motor wheel in Mendota ILL. They would send a sheet of steel in one side of the press and out the other came six wheel halves. The press was three stories tall and one below ground mounted in bed rock. When running the ground shook for three blocks.
