I have a Behlen power steering pump apart that is off a Deere 60. Its the kind that runs off the distributor drive. I need a shim or shims and a seal. Are all the pumps the same? I see the parts listed by a dealer that specializes in IH but I can't come up with any parts for a Behlen pump on a Deere. I can get the seal locally that is no problem but I do need the shim gasket. I had the face plate faced off and now it just two or three thousanths too tight when I reassemble the pump using the original gasket. It looks like it might have been too tight to begin with and the drive gear wore into the faceplate until it did fit.
