JOHN DEERE 2010 DISTRIBUTER

Need some help! I have a 2010 and my dist. cap is getting bad.

There is a WICO dist. in tractor, most parts not available.
Will change to Delco if I could find one used or rebuilt, right now a
useable core may be my only choice, all rebuilt ones are on back order. does any one know where I can find one or if any one has one.

It would be a shame to loose the tractor over a a dist Cap.

Thanks,

It appears the WICO distributor cap, AT14190, is still available through your John Deere dealer. The cap is available from A&I dealers under the WICO number, X30042 or A-AT14190. They are PRICEY, though!

If you GOOGLE either number there's all sorts of places to buy them.

If you want to search for the later Delco distributor with the cap with two screw, the Delco number is 1112474 and the John Deere number is AR11162

Sure, no problem with fixing your Wico, but over the long haul if you converted over to a Delco you may be better off, they
shouldn't be hard to find, tractor shows and swap meets and E Bay etc should yield plenty.
