This is what 33000 gvw will do if you drop the hitch really fast and raise it again while cruising down the road I forgot to turn the draft control off and it was raising and lowering the load and I overcompensated .

It wasnt good . Actually should have said finally fixing the leak found it a month or so ago with the help of all the fine fellows on here .

Have you looked REALLY close to see if that castiron cover iscracked?

Have you checked to see if it is "flat", must have deformed some to let that O-ring sneak out, I would think?
 
That kind of weight behind a tractor in the 80-100 Hp class is HARD on them . When we got them big 18 foot H &S silage wagons it put the temper test to our Tonka toys , Some of the loads ranged up to 40000 lbs. We bought some standing corn off a neighbor and we weighed every load and avg. around 36000 lbs a load . Sheared the splines off the disc brake pad's on one tractor , took out the damper springs on the clutch on the 806 , bent many hitch pins and many fast rides down hills , broken wheels all this just to make COW CHOW .
