grader 1936 Adams Model 20 Motor Grader with I12 engine

As far as I know...it is a I12 serial number IS1507. I got delivery last November in a snow storm and parked it and just getting back to it. All the snow has not melted, but at least it started. I need all the help I can get obtaining information on this thing.....

Great video. I liked your starting location better in the later part of the video as opposed to standing beside it, there are some bad stories about those situations. I suspect that the depth of snow it could handle would depend on a lot of things including the tread/grip on the rear tires. If it does have an IH engine in yours, is that the supplier that Adams used over the years or did they source their engines from different suppliers?

You tell me.....I think this is original or maybe a replacement of the original. If it is mated up to an IH transmission then I would suspect this grader was made around the engine and drive train. Huge chain drive! We will see how this grades. The tires are generally speaking smooth so would need chains with the ice and snow. The snow should be gone in the next couple of weeks. I will definitely need to grade my muddy driveway. We are also going to place gravel on the drive so will get lots of practice. I love the old machinery, but only a shade tree mechanic, so hopefully goes well.
