I want to use a Deere 430/420 tractor to lift my grain auger. The 5qt capacity will run dry before that happens. Is there a way to mount an additional 1 gallon revivor to give additional capacity ?

I've seen it on tractors with a loader so it can be done. If I can find an old loader manual I'll see if it mentions it.

Found this link to some factory resivors on ebay or you could make your own. I was thinking between 4 and 5 but it's been a while.

Try again. If it works there are several si sizes and shapes of the old metal ones.

The beetle-brain at JD who decided to give newer lawn mowers the same model number as one of their older farm tractor models, should smacked up side the head with a 2X4! Every time you go into a Deere dealer and ask for parts for a 420 they look up the stupid lawn mower. Most of the younger parts guys have no idea a 420 tractor ever existed. Not their fault of course.

The metal ones in the link are for tractors much bigger than yours. You will have to tie it into the larger return line.

It would cost less and work better to replace one way hydraulic ram with a two way hydraulic ram . Although the existing ram may just need another hydraulic hose between it and the tractor . To make it a two way .
Store the extra oil in the cylinder instead of in the tractor .
