John Deere 2755 fuses

I am working on neighbor's 2755 open station. It has had electrical light problems which are fixed. But on the fuse panel, fuse number 16 keeps blowing as soon as a fuse is put in. I don't know what this fuse does and can't see anything not working except for Tach and hour meter. It is a 10 amp fuse. I don't have any Manual on this tractor and am not buying one as I am not the owner. If anyone has a 2755 open station and can tell me what number 16 is for I would appreciate the info. Thanks in advance.

This may or may not be right as there are serial number breaks for the manuals.

You can download, FREE, many of the Ag operator's manuals from https://techpubs.deere.com/ . Just equipment search for 2755 and pick the one that matches the serial number you are working on, in the language of your choice. If there is no price beside where it says Download it is free.

I like that all of the Deere operator manuals are free online. But they charge pretty good to download any service manual. I've paid for a couple service manuals because it is still cheaper than having the dealers service truck sitting in my driveway for a couple hours.

I think most Ag operators manuals are free downloads. They still get $$ for the Construction and Forestry Operator's manuals. And hold on it you want tech manuals, and now on both sides many machines need multiple manuals for the tech info.

And the last one I downloaded was 2700 pages of diagnostics. Took a while to even find where to start let alone how to proceed once I got there. I don't have much hair left to pull out. lol

Jim: Thank you, that is exactly what I needed and it looks the same as the 2755 I am working on. Thanks again.
