Shimmy quick fix

Got the Cub out for a ride yesterday, and I had forgotten how bad the front end shimmys driving on pavement. It's not a problem on grass but is wore out no doubt. Had a bag of trampoline springs I saved from the scrap, with a little redneck engineering steering is now tight. Much more pleasant to drive just don't let go of the steering wheel.

I've got some short gas springs around somewhere, might try that for a more professional look.

Wouldn't it be better/easier to just fix the issue?

Spindle bushings are worn out. A bit of a job to replace, but NOT expensive.
