I.D. this water pump

Can anyone ID this water pump? Looks like an engine water pump. Was nailed to a board to use as a homade grinding wheel arbor. Id like to see it go to someone that could use it. Says 1921 patent date

Holy cripes she is an oldie, if It didnt have a 1921 patent I would say to look for the James Watts logo. Sorry I am not much help.

But I wonder what "The Rest of the Story" is that the flat belt pulley has been moved?

Must have been modified for some other use.

The pulley being moved probably had something to
do with it being used as a grinding wheel arbor. Do
not do what I do and pop off an answer before I read
all the post and other replies. If my comment or
question has already been addressed I then feel
stupid. ; >) ..winky face may have been removed..
