Looking good!! Always did like opening boxes of new/reconditioned parts, getting an engine back together and having it start back up. My biggest engine was a C-15 Cat diesel (15 Liter-475 HP) in a 9900i International truck. It had broken the crank between the #6 rod journal and the #7 main bearing, new crank was $5400!! It ran good for a year or so, then had a valve spring, making a noise. My co-worker pulled the head,had it fixed and it was still running a couple of years ago when I saw the truck. Good luck, keep us posted as you go along.

Where I'm from watching a man work is a spectator sport that requires a Bud in one hand, a cigarette in the other hand and the spectators are always hanging out unwanted advice. Hope Battery is helpful.

Heck, I think my International grain truck with the 466 diesel runs better with deere 15-40 in it. Just kidding I'm only going to keep 1 engine oil around.

Thats how I am its a pain to keep 3 or 4 different oils around

Advice like...make sure you put all the new clean shiny parts in the block with the clean shiny cylinder bores and not the old dirty one. Just as an example, maybe you only have one block.

I have an IHC DT 466 in my Paystar 5000. Good running engine and always starts.

Yup Everything tractors, semi engines, even the honda motorcycles and 4 wheeler get DELO 15/40...

So the next question how many colors of paint do you stock??? is it going to be JD Green????

Actually have another 53 block that is not cracked thinking of building it and selling it . Not sure anybody would buy the pos though

Parts day is always fun . When I rebuilt my 4020 I didnt replace the oil pump ended up replacing that a couple years down the road and I got the wrong dipstick and it was taking 5 gallon of oil to get to the full line and took out the rear main seal so there was a couple teething problems but it runs like a top now
