Samson radial tractor tires

We have tried to run them...either had major problems with way the bead is made cutting up the tubes or the sidewalls cracking open quickly. Were not run under inflated either. Been going with BKT in these applications with good luck since.

Ive got some alliance that are 3 years old and they are cracked worse than some Ive got that are 50 years old

Can't comment on the Samson tractor tires as I've never had one. I did have some rib implement tires on a cultivator. They did not last long at all before the sidewalls were splitting and bulging in the tread. I did not think they were a very good tire after that. The 35 year old Goodyears lasted a lot longer than Samson.

Not radial, I have bias as duals on the TW20.

They are doing the job, but certainly look like a budget tire....... tire guy suggested they would match up as new tires with the 60% Firestones I have as main tires, wouldnt have to rotate new tires to the inside, used tires to the outside.

Again, not radials.

I havent picked it up yet guess well see what it looks when he gets it here maybe Ill spend another 600 and get a titan

At this point I would buy them again, no troubles, but I can see they are a lesser tire. Biggest deal on my bias is thry have far fewer lugs so less traction, but in my situation that was the goal as the outer duals.

Ive seen those bias ply ones they look like the Cookie Monster ate half the lugs . Got to be as good as a an old bald dual tire

Rusty these newer tires sure dont come close to what they
were 40 and 50 years ago thats for sure . Me and my cousin
were talking about that we never equipment 50 years old with
original tires and equipment 5 years old that already needs a
second set we road equipment a lot of miles in a year and I
dont think that helps tire life

Yup, that describes them. You got a different deal there with the radials, havent been around those.
