Yesterday morning, there was a post from a new guy. I thought it was here, might have been on tractor tales, now it's gone. I've looked back a couple of pages on talk, tales and tools and can't find it anywhere. Did I imagine the post??

I remember another post where someone's Grandpa had passed some time back and he was trying to figure out something with a Ford 7000, I think? Had a nice paint job. Don't remember much else, but haven't see that one.

The guy you're thinking of, what kind of post was it yesterday morning? What was he asking/commenting about?

Yep. The WWII vets got tired of it in a hurry. Haven't heard of anyone on the space station wishing they could get spam in a squeeze tube.

I like spam . Takes a good bit of mustard and a slice
of cheese and its a pretty sandwich . Tried frying it
once wasnt sure about that .
 
Gotta disagree. I like fried spam then get a block of cheder or mozzarella cheese. Cut two slices of the cheese like bread and fry it all together until the cheese is melted in with the fried spam.
 

Ate bologna all the time as a kid with mayo. Fried is great too. Ham was too expensive back then. Mom's two week paycheck usually only got us a week and a half's worth of groceries. Teachers would see me and share their lunch with me. Don't miss those days at all but I know people went through worse during the depression so I have to put it in perspective. Between that and being in the army, I could handle sleeping under a bridge if it came to that. Good thing it won't.
 
If you guys gotta disguise it with "tons" of mustard, mayo, horseradish, and/or cheese... Clearly you do NOT like spam.

Why don't you eat something that you think tastes GOOD?

I like SPAM straight up fried. Maybe a little touch of mustard. Don't need to disguise it.

Not necessarily. I also like ham sandwiches, hamburgers, brats and hot dogs, but I never eat any of them plain. Always put something on them. Spam is no different. I like it plain also, but a little something extra just makes it even better!
 

Just remembered what I didn't like about Spam. It was that waxy gelatin stuff that was packed in the can with it.

Yeah a "little" something extra. I get the feeling that if you saw what these guys were eating, you'd be asking "Would you like some spam with your mayo?"

When you have to absolutely drown your food with condiments to choke it down, you like the condiments, not the food.
