Anyone have info on Plowing the Palouse 2021?

A few years ago we were in Washington state and just happen to see a group getting ready to plow a big field. A guy let me make a round or two with is JD 730. It was right next to a John Deere Dealer.

T.C. What kind of info are you looking for on the Palouse. I live in N. Idaho, and will be driving down to Moscow, thru the Palouse in a couple of weeks. Can I help? Steve

Seems like it is usually early october.

I will find and post some contact info

Great variety of iron still earning thier keep isnt it?

I been thru that country,a friend Pete, worked for his BIL,out there somewhere, the fields can be very long and winding i am told, they would leave early in the morning, and make back to where they started by noon, have diner, and do it again, but that was with a cat, at 3.5 MPH, according to Pete, they weren't plowing,it was chisel plowing or a surflex !

I'm thinking about having a plowing the palouse. My garden needs tilling this next week so if anyone wants to come over and make a round or two with my front tine tiller in clay soil, I would appreciate it. lol

I don't know what time of year this was or where. See if this picture helps.

That may be on the south or east edge of Moscow, ID. There is/was a big JD dealer there last time I looked. If you want I'll go take a look in a week or two and see if the landscape looks the same as your pic. Or pull up Google earth and see if the layout looks the same.

Look up locations for Pape' Machinery. They are the local JD dealerships. I'm going to try to attach their map. There is/was a dealership just north of Potlatch on highway 95, also.
