Gelled Massey 1635 update

Apparently I'm not the only one with gelling issues from the local fuel. The rumor is they might have got a load of non blended bio about two weeks ago. Can't change that now. It got up to zero today, so I pumped out what I could and it looked about like spoiled milk. Maybe water contamination too. I dumped in a couple gallons of K1 in it and another new filter. Tried to fire but wouldn't run. Put the heat gun on the filter housing and fuel pump for an hour. It started then and I ran it for two hours. Gonna let it sit overnight to soak. Seems to be OK tomorrow, I'll fill it up with No. 1 and see how it goes. I have a truck tank for gas I'll clean up and use for diesel from the farm dealer.

There was a new truck stop that went in here about ten years ago. I only bought biodiesel from them, the pump were incredibly slow. I asked one of the workers what was up with the slow pump,he told me the filters must be plugged again. It seem the pump filters must be changed once a week or sooner,I have not bought any since.
