John Deere trike builder

Any one have any info on who built this trike powered by John
Deere LUC engine. I would like to know the set up for the
transmission and rear end.

A neat build for sure. Looks like power out toward the front then either belt or chain down to transmission.

I wish I could find the pic of my Nephew's 2 wheeler MC. He had it tricked out in JD green.
JD decals. A yellow seat with John Deere embroyed. Really sharp.

He said he paid more for the paint job than he did the MC.

I had one of those engines to play with, but never built anything. They have a clutch lever with a transfer case at downwards angle. Seemed awkward, but this guy must have re-drilled the bell housing and turned up to the 12 O'clock position. At one point, I bought the clutch unit from an old JD LA tractor. That had a straight-through clutch shaft. For my transaxle, I saved an old SAAB 900 unit.

Well clearly you can see how the rear end is set in there.lol.
It is a belt drive setup. My Hahn hiboy is driven the same way. Belt from back of engine down to transmission. The output shaft direct to rear-end.
