Buzzing wood fall of 1958 and plowing snow winter of 1959 with the Farmall BN.
I would be 3 and 4 years old in these pictures.

I had a camera but couldn't afford to develop pictures as 58 was first year I started at the IH dealer. Dollar and hour. It was just a temporary job until I could find a better one.

Thirty three years later, the boss retired, sold business and I was still there. Worked for a couple different owners then, even Deere. Did get a few raises though along the way.

Notice the home made snow plow. The beams we're White Oak poles dad cut on our land. It was lifted with the front cultivator lift. We had lots of White and Red oak. Still do after logging it off several times over the years.
Buzz rig is store bought but not new.

Great pictures. We had a neighbor with a homemade snow plow. Plow blade was made of wood, mounted on a JD A , I believe it was mounted on a #45 loader in place of the bucket.

Well, I love old pictures as well. I am going to link a home movie with the subject as show in the link, hopefully this is okay with person who originally posted it on YT. What I would give for just 15 minutes of footage of field or chore activity on my grandpas farm in the late 60s when I was under the age of 10. Probably give more if I could see some movies from the late 50s or early 60s when grandpa purchased and moved his family to what I knew as ..the farm.. or Grandpa and Grandma H.s. In my family cameras only came out for family get togethers, because in the ..old stingy German way.. why would you spend money to develop a picture of something you do or see everyday? I have no idea who the people are in the video but I watched the entire hour and 36 minutes of it and there is no sound. The only thing I can tell you about it is that the main farm in the movie is basically right across the road from the church the family attended. Enjoy, and my apologies if posting this upsets the original poster.
