Ray Hoffstedder Case pic odd ft wheels

Ray or anybody know anything about those front wheels with the spring centers in the picture in the link? Seem quite unusual, I wonder if they were a Case option? I suppose they would get pretty squeaky if you didn’t keep them oiled. Ray do you know if the rear wheels are steel? In the photo the outside of the rear wheel looks distorted like it may be a cut tire wrapped on a steel wheel.

Never offered from CASE those are Amish built steel wheels,,

Thanks Nutty, I didn’t look at them close enough before I made the squeaky comment. I thought they had guide rods internal to the springs for alignment. After thinking about that a configuration like that would not allow any cushion from the springs due to geometry.

No better picture of the wheels, the ad says "on steel wheels" and it sure looks like they mounted some rubber on the rear, only $5,500

Look at those rear wheels
. I will bet they are steel wheels with rubber carcass over them, you can see they have no bead on the side. It's amazing what they will do to a tractor to use it and comply with there ideals.
